Want to support DCFNE’s mission but don’t know where to start? Sharing information on social media is a great place to begin! DCFNE’s Social Media Toolkit contains free resources that you can post on Facebook, Instagram, or anywhere on the web!

This one hour training will help service providers understand medical forensic exams, the process to obtain an exam in DC, local legislation, evidence collection, and the obligations of forensic nurse examiners.

Price: Free

Upon completion, learners will be able to define trauma-informed care practices, understand the neurobiology of trauma, know how to respond to trauma disclosures, and identify the health impacts of trauma. This training can also be tailored to the needs of your staff and facility. We often provide this training to and healthcare providers.

Price: Cost depends on the length of the training and the requesting agency. We may be able to offer this training for free.

Learn about the prevalence of strangulation incidents in intimate partner violence relationships, the health impacts of strangulation, signs and symptoms, and what to do if a client discloses strangulation. This training can also be tailored to the needs of your staff and facility. We often provide this training to law enforcement agencies, social service agencies, and other healthcare providers.

Price: Cost depends on the length of the training and the requesting agency. We may be able to offer this training for free.
